The Lowell Southeast Asian Water Festival, Inc. is dedicated to the preservation, protection and sharing of cultural heritages of the Southeast Asian Americans in the Greater Lowell area of Massachusetts.

 

​Every third Saturday in August, approximately 15K-20K people from around the country and the world come to Lowell, Massachusetts to celebrate water as it is celebrated in Southeast Asia. They come for the blessings, food, crafts, performances and the boat races. This year, the Water Festival will be held on August 19, 2023 along the Merrimack River. The boulevard will be lined with local and out-of-state food vendors, merchandise sellers and two stages showcasing cultural performances.

 

We rely on the generosity of our sponsors to keep this event free to the public. Your donation will go towards the costs associated with putting on an event of this scale–venue fees, equipment rental, emergency personnel fees, clean up fees, boat rentals, performance related costs and much more.
